The DELMARVA WORKING DOG GROUP trains under real conditions and mock scenarios. We provide fast paced, life like scenarios which help prepare you for the real world. Our training is done in the heat, cold, snow, wind, rain, or fog. Yep, you can bet that the "bad guys" don't take a day off and neither do we!

DWDG decoy Howard Gaines III taking leg bites from K-9 Ivan. Street duty dogs and K-9 personal protection dogs must be able to work on multiple bite targets.

Vernon Murray (L) and Andy Larrimore (R) were working with Yago on the "A" frame. Seems that the decoy has no place to hide from this dog!

Yeah, we use a bark & hold...right! Try bite and hold. Andy Larrimore (L) and his working Rottweiler, K-9 Ivan had this "bad guy" by the jacket and in control. (Photo by Howard Gaines III)

Using a leg tug and stick has this young German Shepherd all fired up!

WORKING LINES vs SHOW LINES...If the pedigree has lines for show, you can safely bet it has no GO! We train working lines dogs for working conditions. If a show lines dog can't run with the big boys or girls, then sit your puppy rear on the porch. The show is over and you lose!

This Bouvier des Flandres is owned by Howard Gaines III of Harrington, Delaware. There shouldn't be any question about this dog's lines...and they aren't SHOW! (Photo by Andy Larrimore)

"Right, trying to tell me my dog can't bite. Let me figure this leash thing out and it's on!" Vernon Murray and his German Shepherd, Yago have been foundation members of the DELMARVA WORKING DOG GROUP from the begining.
