Attacked by the "bad guy" Rock was in motion. Don't mess with family. A real PPD should go into action under verbal and physical direction. Rock was locked into "bite strike mode" seconds before taking this decoy out of action!

More Bouvier Action!

More Bouvier Action is a photographic collage of Rock and Bear.  We continue to train for K-9 personal protection, area searches, and herding on Katahdin Hair sheep. Thanks for visiting the Gaines Farm and Kennels website and these Bouvier des Flandres pages. If you owned one, you may NEVER own another breed again!

"Hands up!" Bear was keeping a watchful eye on this "bad guy" as her owner, Howard Gaines III did the pat down. (Photo by Dan Long)

Bear and Andy Larrimore were working on environmental bite work.

"Let me at him!" As Rock was pulled from this decoy, he still wanted more.

Decoy Sam Wilks couldn't find "safety" on the A frame.

DWDG member Sam Wilks shown working Rock on the bite suit. Just like Spiderman, Rock was all over him!

Owning a working dog is like owning a handgun. Know what you want, know how to use it, and know how to take care of it!

Folks often get bent out of shape when I tell them, "No you can't pet my dog." They pipe off with, "What isn't he safe?" Sure he's safe, just not friendly enough for you. The Bouvier is a big, powerful dog, one that will protect their pack leader.

The Bear and Rock story continues...Maybe you can be a Bouvier owner too. We are expecting our first 2008 litter around the middle of April. Reserve your puppy NOW!
